I am blessed!! All of my life I have been surrounded by people in my family who have been supportive, inspirational and encouraging to me. 

When I was a little girl one of my favorite things to do in the whole wide world was to go to my Grandparents house. It was always an adventure from the time that I would step foot in the door. My Grandmother is a creative soul as well. She would take the time to turn everything into a fun and creative activity. 

Time at her house was filled with painting, crafting, nature walks, reading books. Exploring the world through box upon box of souvenirs from their travels, reading, cooking, you name it, everything was an adventure.

My Papa was always there to applaud our creations and encourage us to do more. He was our biggest cheerleader. Their home was a magical place to be and these memories are largely responsible for building me into the person that I am today!

She had a small ceramic studio in the basement of her home friends and family would come from miles around to participate in her classes. When I was little I remember that she would give me a job of being her assistant. I would help to rinse brushes, wipe tables, bring paint colors etc. 

She has always been interested in teaching a variety of arts and crafts and I was always eager to learn. 

Little did I know that she was grooming me to be her mini me. Now, today, I am just like her.

I love to teach creative classes. 

I love to learn about a variety of arts and crafts topics. 

My husband is my biggest cheerleader and always encouraging me to go for my dreams.

And… I am currently turning one of the rooms in my basement into an art studio complete with, you guessed it, ceramics. 

It is so funny how her history is repeating in me. I wouldn’t have it any other way. 

I am proud to have been influenced by such an Amazing, Creative, Godly Woman and Such a Encouraging Positive Minded Loving and Godly Man. 

This year my Grandmother will be 92 years old, going on 60. She is still Creating and Crafting the most BEA U TIFUL projects and I still am learning so much from her. 

Creative Mindz is my Dream Come True. I dedicate this part of my story to my GG and my Papa. I love you very much GG, I miss you Papa.! I am Blessed!!!
